Growing your own farm
Let's Begin
To begin lets look at plants that can be farmed. Plants include fruit, vegetables and grains.
Activity 1:
With a partner discuss...
What foods do you think can be grown on a farm?
How do you think they are grown?
Now in your work booklet...
Draw four plants (fruit, vegetable or grain) which are farmed for food.
Activity 2:
Grab your lunch box or look at the pictured lunch box and have a look inside. Look at what fruit, vegetable and/or grains you have inside.
In your work booklet. Draw a picture of your lunch box with those items in it. Make sure to label the items.
Activity 3
This is a class activity where you grow a grass head. Follow the teachers instructions and watch your grass head grow hair.
